SIs 4MP enough for CCTV? While there is a difference between 4MP and 4K security cameras, a 4MP camera captures just under four million pixels. While it’s not the highest quality, it is an excellent balance between the surveillance footage quality and how much storage it takes up.
4 Megapixel IP Cameras are network based security cameras that are capable of providing video resolutions up to 2560 x 1440 pixels which is 30% greater than HD 1080p. The image can be resampled by selecting Image > Resize > Image Size. Select Resample Image, and then choose Nearest Neighbor as the interpolation method. Constrain Proportions can be selected to maintain the current aspect ratio.
